This is the first oil painting I ever did. I started taking a painting class in 1992 from Doug Prine, an oil painter from Texas who is very well known for his Old West and Native American Indian paintings as well as other historical paintings. It was from Doug that I learned how to mix and work with a limited palette. I was always impressed with how easily and quickly he could mix and paint. He was and still is an inspiration to me. Thank you, Doug!
